Heard that 400,000 insurance professionals are retiring... is that actually true?

I came across a stat saying around 400,000 insurance professionals are expected to retire by the end of 2026, and honestly, it made me stop and think.

If that's even close to accurate, that's a massive amount of experienced people leaving the industry. At the same time, I keep hearing agencies say they're having a hard time finding experienced people.

I'm curious. Does this actually match what you're seeing? Are agencies really struggling to replace retiring agents, or is this being overstated?
