Buyers Beware SaberArts
I originally was buying a saber for my boyfriend (now ex) and ordered it around October or early November. My partner and I broke up, so I tried to cancel the order via customer service.
The CS person told me "Oh, your saber hasn't been shipped out yet. Do you still want to cancel?"
I told them yes that same day.
I got an email reply back a few days later claiming "Ohhh, sorry, you didn't put in your request soon enough, it was shipped out."
So, they sent me the saber and I just simply had to return it. Fine. Whatever.
But, apparently they had issues with their return system. So I couldn't return it until APRIL!!
When I returned it in the packaging they provided, it came back to them damaged and they tried to claim that I can't have my refund.
I told them it was THEIR OWN CRAPPY PACKAGING that THEY PROVIDED that was at fault. I never got any other protective box or anything, it just came in the black SaberArts box. I had to use the screenshots they provided to prove that this was the only packaging they gave me. My shipping label was right on top of the original that still had parts showing.
So, they finally say "Okay, fair enough. Our bad. We'll give you a refund. But actually, our refund system is really screwed up, so it's easier if you do it on your end. Actually, if we look, it's only been 179 days! You can dispute it yourself still!"
I said no. It's their problem. Because if my order was cancelled when I told them to, none of this would have happened.
So, the solution was to PayPal me the payment I made back. And it took another TWO WEEKS of emailing them almost every day to ask "Hey, where's my refund?"
Finally, I threatened legal action. And they FINALLY gave me my money back.
Worst customer service ever. If I could leave a review on Google or their own website, 0-1 Star for customer service alone. But they'd likely delete that review from their website and there doesn't seem to be a Google page for them to leave a review.
I still have all the screenshots of emails, pictures, everything. Just haven't blocked out the important info to post proof
