How strict are Brilliant hostel rules?

Got allotted a Brilliant hostel and wanted to know what the rules are actually like. Are phones and laptops allowed? Can you use them freely or are they collected at certain times? And how does going out work .... can you leave during free time/weekends or do you need permission? Also curious about curfew, ordering food, visiting friends, etc.

Would appreciate it if someone currently staying there could give me the actual situation 🙏

Joining Brilliant soon..... what should I know?

Got allotted Nellipuzha hostel for Brilliant. I’m an NRI and haven’t really experienced hostel life in Kerala before, so I’m kinda curious what it’s actually like there . If anyone’s currently staying there or has stayed there before, would love to know about the overall vibe like how are the people, is it easy to make friends, what’s the friend group situation like, are people chill or is it super competitive, how’s the warden, food, rooms, rules, study environment, going out, etc. Basically just wanna know what the day-to-day life at Nellipuzha is actually like and what I should expect before I join. Any honest experiences would be appreciated.

Brilliant Pala repeaters + hostel: Advice for someone used to a lot of freedom?

Hey everyone, I’ve just completed 12th grade and I’m planning to take a drop year. I’m considering joining the Brilliant Pala repeaters' course with hostel accommodation.

The only thing I’m worried about is the adjustment. As an NRI, I’ve grown up with a lot of freedom and independence, so I’m not really used to a very strict or highly regulated environment. I’ve heard that the hostel has a disciplined routine, and I’m wondering if the transition might be difficult.

Has anyone with a similar background studied there? How was your experience, and did you eventually adjust?
