Application Specialist in a stable company or Senior Tech in a small startup?

Dear all,

I am currently working in a stable company selling lab instruments as Application Specialist in flow cytometry.

Before this I worked for 15 years in a university, 2 years ina small biotech and 3 years in another. The two biotech had to close. The forst because of bad results and the second due to lack of investors (but with good results, that was a pity).

I can join a small biotech as Senior Tech. I will be i charge of the flow cytometry platform + doing lab experiments.

I prefer way more being in the lab rather than being a commercial application specialist.

But I am afraid to be without job in two years if I choose the biotech.

What is your advuce on this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

PS: sorry for my english, I am not natuve speaker.
