I'm at the start of the summer of sophomore year, halfway through my degree in Production and Industrial Engineering. So far I did one local internship in winter vaca with the engineering and design team of a company (through a relative) and I am spending considerable time learning japanese and dutch. That's more or less it. Not much in my resume now.

Really wanted to intern abroad somewhere next summer. What all can I learn and do this summer for that ? Was think about brute forcing through stats OR coding mech eng and a language but really nothing I will do seems to get me an intern abroad, seems like an impossible thing.
