Unbelievable Blind Luck
So I ran into some insane, blind luck today.
A few months ago I was listening to the boys on Spotify and I wandered over to the merch tab just out of curiosity. I saw this canvas jacket and my wife has been hogging the TØP hoodie we're supposed to be sharing so I figured I'd playfully one up her. The entire transaction was conducted through Spotify and I got a confirmation email for the purchase. Almost immediately after that I got a cancelation email from the TØP merch site and noticed that it's not listed anywhere for purchase. I figured Spotify was outdated and sucked up the disappointment. I bought a knock off on Amazon that I haven't been able to wear because weather has been sunny and warm.
So today I waited in the queue for the Ohio Stadium show and was lucky enough to get us 2 tickets in one of the nosebleed sections. I was bummed out that after all the prep and anticipation I didn't have better options but I'm thankful for being able to go. I'm sorry to anyone who is still in limbo and hoping for tickets on Friday. The stress would kill me.
My wife gets home from work with a package for me when I haven't ordered anything in quite a while so I was totally confused. I rip into it and there it is. Of all days. I was told I was refunded and everything. How? Did they have a random one in deep storage laying around? What did I do to deserve this?
Does anyone know when these were released? I know it seems like Trench era but that was what, 9 years ago now? Either way, this is what I'm wearing to the stadium and my lady will be wearing the knock off.
Edit: Oh snap. If you go to Trench on Spotify it's still on recommended merch if you scroll all the way down it's still there. Obviously no guarantees but maybe there are more. I ordered mine like 3 months ago.
