Help! I'm trying to decide what to do with my tomato plants.

I have about 15 tomato plants I don't know what to do with. My garden started late this year (6b CT) because first my Dad was very ill and now I have Epstein-Barr virus. I've had Epstein Barr for 3 weeks, giving me two hours of energy in the busiest time of the year. The 15 plants are hardy and I wonder if they'll catch up if I can get them in the ground. I have about 50 in the ground that are doing well. I have to prune the bottom leaves on just about all of them. Tomorrow is a bimonthly fertilizing day for the garden (that's going to take a couple days ) Do I put them in the ground or stick with trying to keep up with what I have?

How to prevent little black bugs on Eggplant plants?

Last year was my first year gardening in raised beds. I bought a bunch of plants from a big box, they all did ok except the eggplants. I came out one afternoon to see the leaves looked like lace and what was on the bottom of the leaves were lots of little black bugs. I think they were aphids. I found them heavily on the Nasturtiums in the flower garden. I've read about using Nasturtiums as a trap crop. Is this a typical problem with Eggplant? Is there anything I can do to prevent this happening again?

How should I use the compost I've been building for the last 10 months?

I have a double tumbler computer and an open bottom plastic one. I really have them so I don't waste food and kitchen scraps. I have been adding greens and carbons, but I really don't know what I'm doing. I have compost delivered for my gardens. Quite a bit is still a bit chunky, but it's earthy smelling. I'm going to be starting some grow bags with tomatoes, cucumbers, and cucamelons. So, I'm wondering how to use it in the bags, Suggestions?
