Onboarding Checks Process
Anyone else had a long wait between accepting a job offer and getting a confirmed start date? 😅
I’ve accepted an offer and finished all the paperwork on my side, but I’m still waiting for the onboarding checks to be finalised before they can lock in a start date.
It’s been around 3 weeks now and the uncertainty is honestly starting to stress me out a bit because I already wrapped up at my previous job and was hoping to start fairly soon.
I’m also meant to be overseas for 2 weeks soon, so now I’m unsure whether I should proactively let them know about my travel plans or just wait things out quietly.
Part of me doesn’t want to seem annoying by following up too much, but another part of me is anxious because I’m checking emails every day hoping for an update 😭
Would really appreciate hearing if anyone else has been through something similar and how long things ended up taking.
