J.R.R. Tolkien: A Descriptive Bibliography by Wayne G. Hammond and Douglas A. Anderson is a "comprehensive and complete bibliography on the publications of J.R.R. Tolkien" up until the year 1993, but it has been out-of-print for many, many years.

Would you like to see a reprint of this book? It can be valuable as a collector's item, for research purposes and also as an aid to grow your own collection as a lot of the material in the book does not exist elsewhere in such detail.

It looks like a second edition is not on the table at the moment due to the heavy workload required and other contractual demands for the authors.

Do you think it is a good idea to do a reprint? Perhaps as a print-on-demand if the financial risk is deemed too high?

I have now used my Kobo e-readers (KLC, KCBW) for about 6 months. I got them matching thick and sturdy cases (although I have the standard origami and notebook ones too). It has a kick-stand and a strap on the back. The cover over the screen is thick and robust so the screen is never in trouble.

I use the KLC at home and KCBW for my commute. During the past 6 months, I have read around 25 books, up from 5 books during the entire last year. I often read multiple books at the same time as well.

I like the color for the covers and the buttons are great. I have a black Kobo remote that I used for the KLC and I use a desk-standing stand for it to get it at a good height and distance. I thought these accessories would be useless but they were amazing. The KCBW is great for my commute as it is small and the screen is very sharp.

I like the KC portability, but not sure that BW was the right choice. I am sure I would have been fine with KCC as well. I am hoping they release a refreshed Kobo with a bigger screen. What do you hope is the next Kobo model released?

This has really been a game-changer for me. I have too many books and ebooks take up far smaller physical space. They are also about 1/3 the price of a book and there are many ebooks for books that are out of print. So I can get more books for less. What has the experience been for you?

The only downside is that it has broken my interest in reading most physical books as the font size now looks ridiculously small. My KLC has ~30 characters per line, but I am thinking about going to 40 characters. What font size do you use?

Thank you Kobo for existing. I may miss some books from that questionable rainforest store, but that is okay. My kobos have zero ads and I sideload all books via Calibre (I make sure to have good backups). Really the best tech product I have gotten since the smartphone was released. How does it rank for you?
