Upstate NY for context if that helps. My boss gave me a $.50 raise to $17.50 because our new contract cycle started, meaning all new employees start at $17.50 now. I put in my 3 week notice within a few days. My first two checks after the notice had the raise. My boss and I got into an argument on my very last day, and when I checked my most recent paystub, I am back to $17/hr. Is this legal? This feels illegal.
