Wilier upgrade advice

Hey all, looking for some wisdom from those further down the rabbit hole than me.

I'm almost a year into riding and I've recently started taking training seriously, I'm building towards gran fondos and maybe crits further down the track. My current setup is a Wilier Cento1 Air which has been decent so far, but I'm at the point where I want something that excites me a bit more to get out the door each morning.

Wilier just dropped the Rapida at a price point I can realistically hit soon, but I keep coming back to the same question: is it worth buying a "stepping stone" bike, or should I just be patient and wait for the Filante SL?

The Filante ticks every box but a decent build is a stretch right now. I'd rather wait another 6–12 months if that's the right call than end up with upgrade regret in another year.

Has anyone gone through a similar decision? Should I skip the mid-tier and wait?
