Who does the green lantern theory of policity apply to?

For those that dont know the green lantern theory is that the President is an all powerful entity that can achieve any policy goals, if they just have the willpower to do it.

It doenst matter if there arent enough votes in congress and the courts dont matter. If a President doesnt achieve a policy goal its cause they really didnt want to or try hard enough.

Who do you think people apply it to? Democratic president for sure, but ive seen people apply it to Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries as well. Also, i dont think anyone ever applies it to Republicans?

Also, what is the "power level" of the green lantern? Is anything possible or are only minor things possible? Like many on here think Chuck Schumer could have gotten ACA tax credits passed if he had just kept the government shut down. But why stop at ACA tax credits? Would you say chuck schumer could have gotten medicare for all passed, and all he had to do was keep the government shut down?

Why doesnt this also apply to rank and file members? Governors, mayors, hell even candidates or third party candidates?

Why dont the Democrats who voted for FISA and Laken Riley Act have serious primary challengers?

46 house dems voted for the laken riley act, 42 house dems voted to rauthroize FISA. I bet theres significant overlap between those two.

Everyday, i see people on here screech about neoliberals and corporate dems. Yet none of these dems, who id imagine are the most corporate and most moderate arent drawing any well funded challengers. Why?

Also im not saying they have zero primary opponents at all. Im saying the few leftist groups that have money and that are prioritizing challenging incumbent dems arent really taking on these corporate dems. Groups like leaders we deserve and justice dems.

Platner is my ideal candidate. An unabashed progressive candidate running to defeat a republican incumbent and flip a seat.

Now that mills has dropped out, the dem establishment is getting behind platner. Will leftist and dems finally accept that we can work together to defeat republicans? This proves that vote blue no matter who also applies to progressive candidates.

This is a question for leftist that think harris threw immigrants under the bus. I assume this is because the bipartisan immigration/border bill biden pushed was too conservatove for you. Are there other reasons why you think harris threw immigrants under the bus?

And then follow up, what is your desired immigration policy?
