Hi all, don’t suppose there’s anyone who can make head or tail of my DaT scan results at all can they?
I feel like the below report doesn’t match with what the attached table is showing:
Activity: 176 MBq of iodine-123 ioflupane (DaTSCAN).
SPECT images acquired. Potassium iodide 130 mg orally, 1 hour prior to radioisotope administration.
Images were further analyzed using DAQuant (GE) proprietary quantification software.
There is good, high level symmetrical tracer uptake in both caudate and putamen.
Both striatum demonstrates a normal 'comma' configuration bilaterally. There is no pathological increased background tracer uptake.
DAQuant quantification in such a young age group is not reliable, as there is a paucity of normal subjects to compare to. impression:
There is normal presynaptic dopamine transporter function in both striatum.
