What if we could build a messenger that’s literally impossible to shut down or spy on? Just an idea.
Hey guys,
I’m thinking about a messenger concept that’s literally impossible to spy on or shut down.
Instead of relying on central servers (which track your metadata and can be blocked anytime), every user would act as a standalone peer, routing traffic directly device-to-device through Tor Onion Services.
No middleman, no metadata leaks, just pure privacy.
I know making this work smoothly in C++ has its engineering hurdles (like offline messaging), but is this kind of absolute digital autonomy something people actually want? Or is it total overkill?
Change my mind. Would love to hear your thoughts.
