Is this SRS?

I have hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. My joints regularly sublux, mostly my hips and my shoulders. I have extreme ROM in all of my joints, and my skin is very elastic.

A few days ago I was having floor time and I fell asleep lying on my stomach for about an hour max. I woke up with chest pain around my ribs, and it felt a bit harder to breathe. It was a sharp, stabbing pain whenever I moved.

I touched my ribs and they felt weird, so I examined them in the mirror and noticed they're turned inwards on one side. There's a big dip that wasn't there before.

I thought I'd wait a bit to see if it goes away, since I have several chronic illnesses (EDS, food intolerances, endo, dysautonomia) and my body always does some weird random thing. But it didn't go away; my symptoms got worse.

I've been having more and more difficulty filling my lungs with air, and I feel nauseous all the time. It only gets better in certain positions, but because of my EDS, I generally can't hold one position for a longer period of time.

I went to a doctor, they did an X-ray and told me the bones are not broken or fractured so there's nothing they can do about it.

Then I went to a different doctor and they didn't even examine me, just told me to go to the ER.

I went, and spent 8 hours waiting there, only to be told the same: it's not broken, my labs are normal, I'm fine. Just take some painkillers and rest. They even tried telling me my ribs are "perfectly symmetrical", to which I said I can visually see they're not and I can feel with my hands they're not, and they did NOT use to look like this before. Didn't matter, the doctors said I was perfectly fine, and even threatened to put me in the psych ward.

I tried researching what it could be, and I found SRS; however there's not a single article about it in my native language, and I think doctors don't know about it (for example, POTS also isn't known in my country and it doesn't even have it's own diagnostic code).

What do you think? Could it be SRS? What should I do? It's causing constant discomfort.
