How I built a Minimalist Apple-style App using Vibecoding (Noob-friendly Guide) 🍎✨
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm a student developer from Sri Lanka currently preparing for my A/Ls. I’ve always loved the minimalist, glassmorphism aesthetic of the Apple ecosystem, so I decided to try building something similar using Vibecoding.
As someone who is still a beginner ("noob") in coding, I relied heavily on Cursor AI and natural language prompts to bring this to life.
How I Built It (Step-by-Step):
- The Vision: I wanted a UI that feels like Windows 11 but with that smooth Apple experience.
- Tech Stack: I used React.js for the frontend and Node.js for the backend logic.
- Design Language: Focused on the #007AFF blue, high transparency glass effects, and smooth transitions.
- The "Vibe" Protocol: Instead of writing complex functions myself, I used highly detailed prompts to iterate on every single step until the UI felt "right".
Key Features:
- Clean, minimalist Apple-style interface.
- Fully functional and deployed on Vercel.
- Built entirely through AI-assisted "vibecoding" sessions.

I’m sharing this because I want to show other beginners that you don't need to be a senior dev to build high-quality looking apps anymore. I’d love to get some feedback on the UI and the overall feel!
