What about the sort of illusion ?

I’ve been playing Outer Wilds for a few days now and I have a question about the sort of illusion you sometimes get when placing a ‘tablet’ onto a stand. I’m talking about that vision with a black background and what I think are Nomai head statues — some are lit up and others aren’t.
Is there actually something you’re supposed to do in that illusion? Some kind of interaction? I’ve seen it 3 or 4 times now, and every time I just leave. Recently there were three statues lit up — maybe that’s always the case actually — but it gives me the impression that I’m supposed to light up the others. Did I miss something, or is there genuinely nothing to do and everything is fine?
Please no spoilers, but if I missed an action I was supposed to do, I’d like to know what it was.
