First true haul as a treat to myself, a DT associate

I don't often buy large amounts of things at Dollar Tree for myself, as my biggest orders usually are "just because" gifts or supplies for something separate from my leisurely life. Now, that isn't to say I don't treat myself, because I will pretty often buy myself one or two things, like a word search book and a makeup product, or a snack and a journal. I have a good amount of things built up because of that.

But today I splurged a little, as I had set aside some things for after my shift the previous couple of weeks, and most of it was for me. First off were some cute coloring books, because nobody is ever too old to color. And also because I've been loving the influx of Strawberry Shortcake in the store 😌

Second slide is craft and stationery supplies, as I am big into crafting, junk journaling/scrapbook, penpalling, all sorts of things. I'm particularly excited about the erasable pens, they're adorable and, if they work, I'll delegate them as my pens specifically for writing addresses on envelopes and labels. And I always love the soft "leather" journals.

I also got a handful of the diamond painting kits, to do over cups of tea, in my free time. My only concern is if any of the art is generated by AI, but they don't seem to be.

Now the rest is a variety of things that caught my eye, mostly HBC things. I also threw in one of the garden lights (the third one I've bought so far) because I love those type specifically, and wanted one that wasn't pink. I bought extras of the Beauty Intuition "Pink Peony" Lip Glazes because I love the shade, scent, and look of it 😗 My favorite scents in products are usually vanilla, honey, caramel...anything that smells "bakery", so the majority are in those scents, except for those two hand creams in fruity and floral scents.

Now, I'm especially excited about the honey Korean face mask, and the headband. It's so rare to find headbands that AREN'T ugly at Dollar Tree, and I'm someone who's trying to build a hair accessory collection (I'm rather lacking) that works with my outfits, so this was just darling. I just need to figure out how to properly style my hair and it, because as you can tell by the last slide, I just stuck it in real quick...

Now, apparently this Prolux matte setting powder is really good, so I figured I'd try it. A manager and co-worker said either the Porcelain or Ivory would probably work for me, so I opted for Porcelain and set the Ivory aside for later, as well as the translucent one, because that should always be a reliable one.

Sorry for rambling about the things, I just figured it would be weird to make a photo post out of the blue for the first time without giving at least some input😣
