Dash
So it’s taken me awhile to write this post. We lost our Dash O a month ago. He was playing in the yard with his silly lifesaver shirt on and 30 minutes later he collapsed. We rushed him to the emergency vet. When we arrived he was barely alive.
The vet told us he had blood around his heart. They were able to stabilize him long enough for us to say goodbye. No last sniffs. No last favorite foods. No last trips in the car. It just ended so quickly. Hemangiosarcoma. There wasn’t anything we could do.
Today would’ve been his 4th Gotcha day. We miss him terribly. We hope to adopt another sweet Galgo boy - just hoping our other guys will accept him.
I know for many it seems soon. It is. But I know he would want us to help another guy.
To my Dash - I will miss you until I see you again. You were silly and strong all at the same time. Watch over us and know we miss you every day.
