Laughter

I laugh loud when I feel safe

I was screamed at for laughing loudly by a father who was pilled out on the couch, or overstimulated at the racetrack or his main shop claiming I was seeking attention from boys/men.

I laugh to release the tension, fear, anger, frustration, the things I can't communicate - my laughter is so much more than a reaction to something funny, it's an expression of how I FEEL.

I laugh to stay sane despite everything happening around me and I laugh loud when I feel comfortable in the crazy place we call life. If someone tells me I'm laughing too loud I know they aren't for me.
