Okay/ so not really any huge spoilers here but I tagged it incase people haven’t gotten this far yet
I’m a 3x reader now . I just put something together and I want someone else’s opinion on this /
I have a huge feeling Maas was a fan of the never ending story as a kid and here’s why I say this LMAO
The ouroboros in acotar is a mirror that shows your true self, right ? In some kind of wintery snowy chamber with frost and snow on it
Well! Never ending story has the ouroboros as the main symbol for the movie / book inside the movie .
When atreyu has to go to the southern oracle/mirrorgate he must also face the mirror that shows his true self which is —— cue drums —- also in the snow ! He sees his true self as bastian .
Is this some weird coincidence or do yall agree that maybe some slight inspo may be drawn cause literally in no other literature does this similar scenario exist . The ouroboros exists , but not in any relation to a snowy mirror like these exact two situations .
