Homeless drug addiction (23) to half marathon runner at (30)
Just stumbled across this sub and thought id throw in my personal glow up.
The first image is me ages 23. I was homeless and addicted to meth. The second image is me aged 30 running my first half marathon with a finishing time of one hour and thirty eight minutes.
Its quite bizarre looking at old photos of me, like this one. I no longer recognise or connect with the 23 year old version of me. It feels like that is someone else. Proud if myself for pulling through. I'm far from perfect, but I do have a beautiful and abundant life.
If you feel like you're stuck, or your life is falling apart, hang in there. You'll come through it stronger than ever.
