Rescheduling surgery

My surgery is two weeks away. I’m not ready at all. I had a loss in my family and I fell off working out and eating good and I’ve gained a lot of weight. I was already heavier than the doctor recommended but he was still gonna proceed with surgery. Now being even heavier, I really want to push my surgery back. I don’t think I’d be happy with the results right now and I’m starting to dread it more than be excited. Is rescheduling as big of a deal as it feels to me right now? I know it’s the right choice for me with where my body and my mental health is, but it feels like a burden on everyone to do.
