Bees under kids playhouse (and I want to keep both safe)
I'm looking for some advise on how, or even whether I should be handling this.
We've noticed bees starting to go in and out of an area under our kids playhouse. I'm happy that they have found somewhere that they want to be living in our garden, but I don't want either the kids to be accidentally stung or the bees to get pissed off at all.
I've tried to take a photo of the bees in question but apologies for the quality. Also some photos on the area where they are going. Does anyone know what kind of bee this may be?
My oldest has also said that he has seen some bees on the otherside of the playhouse too, going into a hole in the ground. I've not seen them myself so I,m taking his word for it. That is what is shown in the last 2 photos.
What is the best course of action here? I've got 2 young kids, including one toddler. They love using their playhouse and will be in and out of it all summer long. Who's best to help me in this situation? I'm more than happy with the bees being here, I just wish they were in a slightly different location.
Many thanks
