Wow, okay...resubmitting for thoughts and opinions

I appreciate the brutal honesty and feedback from my original post!! The tub will not have to be yellow/gold. It will be white.

The overhead lighting will be different. The sconces will be smaller and less intrusive. I kept the light blue tile for the tub and shower walls and replaced the other walls with a much lighter ceramic. Please see the attached picture for examples of the materials.

Still looking for opinions on if yall hate the light blue marble style tile and should go with something completely different. It is much lighter blue than the picture shows, it's not gray. Also the flooring has a bit of blue in it as well.

Beach House Master Bathroom Remodel

Hi Everyone,

Full master bath renovation on a beach house.

First pic is the original bathroom. Remaining pics are the redesign/renderings + actual tile sample.

Main changes:

  • Added cast iron soaking tub
  • Increased shower size
  • Bench + niches
  • Large format porcelain tile
  • Warm oak vanity + brass fixtures

The bathroom is smaller than the renderings make it appear, which is why I continued the tile throughout instead of stopping on random walls.

Trying to hit upscale coastal / boutique hotel vibes without going too trendy.

Would you continue the tile throughout the room or break it up with painted walls?
