How much do the Agents know?
We know that Smith knows about the prior Matrix's because of his monolog to Morpheus. In Reloaded, the Agents acknowledge that Neo is the Anomoly a second before trying to kill him.
The Agents know that Neo is important...so why kill him? Same with the Key Maker. It's like they are trying to stop the Matrix from being rebooted at all cost. Why? Any ideas?
