Here's what i've come up with.
Well, the whole thing with foils is already pretty discussed in fandom, and a divide between "dark" and "light" trios is no secret to anyone here as well. Buuut.
As a CrowFish girlie, I couldn't help but notice how much Sylus and Rafayel have in common. They both belong to races that were hunted down and wiped out by humans, which, although in different ways, played a crucial role on how they view humanity. They have lots of common personality traits, they even share favourite colors! You can see it when comparing RafMC's and SylusMC's dresses. They have too many parallels to not be connected.
My point is, yesterday I saw a comment that stated there was a discussion on alternative foil division. It makes perfect sense to me when it comes to CrowFish, but i'm also super grateful to Catfishpanda for clarifying how it works for other pairs of foils. I'm putting the screenshots of u/Catfishpanda comments into the carousel for now (lease lmk if you want them removed or for me to credit you the other way!).
Sooo there is certainly some parallels between Sylus and Rafayel, Caleb and Xavier, and apparently, Zayne and Valko (sligtly chaotic example but after PV drop you can already tell Zayne is no longer the only LI that has a family yipee 👀). On my graph this connection is represented by on orange line.
However, the scheme still has some type of connection that mirrors an orange line, i marked it with blue color. Together these two lines make a perfect hexagon. These are the following pairs: Sylus-Zayne, Rafayel-Caleb, Xavier-Valko.
To be honest, the nature of this connection is not entirely clear to me yet (besides Zayne-Sylus being the daddies of the house and Raf-Caleb being the stalkers of the house lol). But given that Infold loves symmetry and parallels, i'm sure there is more to it. What do you guys think? I'm especially curious to hear opinions of players who main the mentioned pairs!
