Trying to find work but haven't got recent experience, how can I find admin work?
Hi All
I have lots of admin/customer service experience, can drive but haven't been able to get work.
I'm fed up of being at home with my folks as they are elderly and mostly hard work.
I miss social interaction and being with positive people.
It anoys me when I go places where young people are working and their attitude is so rude and disinterested and it shows they don't really want to work or enjoy their job. Yet I'm in my 40s have lots if experience willing to work and learn more skills!
Should I go around businesses and ask if they want help on reception as a volunteer or go back to agencies who were never much help?
I do get some financial help as I have mobility issues but I'm realising I'm better off working and forgetting my problems. Not having a partner or my own place etc.
Hardly going out as nothing to motivate me.
Any advice much appreciated for a mature woman! 🙏
