Hi everyone,

Im interesting in becoming a train driver. Does anybody know where to start to try and get onto the training? Ive searched all different sites for different companies but can't seem to find anything. Ive also been into my local job centre and they said they don't know where to start. I have even emailed national rail careers but they haven't replied and that was over a week ago.

Im 40 now so will my age be a problem if I do find where to apply?

I live in the northwest if that matters.
