So I've been heavily considering getting a Big y-700 test. Now my major haplogroup certainly isn't rare in Europe, but it's much less common in Europe than some of the other major haplogroups (R1b, r1a, I1, I2) I'm G-L497 which is the biggest branch of G in europe. But my question is if it's worth it, and if I'll get way fewer matches than someone who is, say, R1a or R1b. I'm totally down to do it for the research, but I think if I get 0 matches I'll be pretty disappointed.
