Can anyone explain to me how this happens?
Bought a used 07 JK wrangler in December, I love it but I’ve had a ton of problems with it, been in the shop 5 times in as many months.
I recently had the shop replace some U joints (about two months ago) due to some rattling and vibration while driving. I noticed a different problem about 2-3 days ago with a clunking sound while coming to a stop, and was planning to take it in again on Monday.
Yesterday, this happened while I was driving. As you ran see, rear drive shaft completely broke off. How does this happen? Did somebody at the shop torque something wrong? Is this a known issue? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
