Hello! I’m considering going on T, and so I’ve been looking at trans-male theatre performers and how T affects the voice. I am an Alto without much professional training (my range is F3-F5), and the majority of singers I’ve seen were previously sopranos and are now tenors.

I’m worried about getting a lower range than I’m comfortable with, since most of my dream roles are in the tenor/baritenor range. I would love to hear anyone’s perspective
