London company not refund me, what should I do?
Hi everyone,
I live in Sweden and booked a service with a UK company Bus Rental company. The company is still actively registered in the London UK.
The total cost was approximately €1,500, which I paid by bank transfer from my Swedish bank account.
The company later cancelled the service but has not refunded my payment. It has now been over a month since the cancellation on June 3.
Initially, they assured me that I would receive a refund. Around two weeks ago, they again promised that the refund would be processed soon. However, they have since stopped responding to my emails and messages.
I contacted Citizens Advice, but they told me they were unable to assist because I am not a UK resident.
Has anyone experienced a similar situation or have any suggestions on what I can do next? Since I paid by bank transfer from Sweden, I understand that a chargeback is not available.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
