Hello. I had to have my engagement ring re-set due to perimenopause and no longer being a size 4.25. We went to a local neighborhood jeweler.

We picked up the ring yesterday. I cannot shake the gut feeling that my natural diamond was switched out with a lab diamond. I used my son’s magnifier to look for the gia inscription but I cannot find it. I also couldn’t find the internal marks since the diamond is a vs1.

Advice needed please. I am freaking out. Thanks. 🙏🏽
