PS: I have a PhD

I emailed the email sent to me by the alleged „Assistant dean“ of The University of [Place] to the actual dean of that university, rather unsurprisingly the person emailing me was not the assistant dean of that university, this person was just an overzealous parent trying to make me change her kid’s grade.

I woke up to another rather scathing email this morning from the same parent including lines such as ”Dear ”Dr.“ so-called [name] I doubt your credentials if you can’t even answer my email“ and „as assistant dean of the university of [place] I would hate to see a professor acting as unprofessional as you“ she is not the assistant dean of that university. I can’t believe there are actual adults out here acting like this over ADULT PEOPLE with lives of their own.
