Bell's Skill Conflict

Bell's Skill Conflict

I remembered that Bell's LF is linked to Ais. Because of this, his stats increase. However, Vanadis Tevere increases stats and regeneration by default. And this skill is linked to Syr, not Ais. This means the two skills can conflict. It's possible that when Vanadis Tevere is activated, the stat point increase becomes the same as for a regular adventurer. Bell also has the skill "Ox Slayer." This skill is also not linked to Ais; it's linked to Asterios and only affects Ox-type monsters. This means there's some kind of penalty when increasing stats in these cases, similar to when using Haruhime's level-up. For example, when fighting Ais, neither of these skills can activate, and without them, Bell can't reach Ais's pover. LF considers using these skills cheating. If so, that would explain a lot.

The Most "Broken" Combinations of Two Adventurers

If you combine Filvis's magic—which allows her to duplicate herself—with Lefiya's skill—which allows her to copy the magic of other Elves—the result is the resurrection of Filvis.

If you utilize Fels's magic—which offers a slim chance of resurrection—in conjunction with Bell's "Luck" stat, the result is the resurrection of Wiene.

It might seem that Bell and Fels make for the ultimate duo, given that they can resurrect anyone who dies in their immediate vicinity. However, if Fels himself is killed, no resurrection will take place. It is also possible that Bell would need to raise his "Luck" stat to Rank S to guarantee a 100% successful resurrection. Regardless, their combination remains incredibly powerful.

Lefiya can only resurrect Filvis; however, should Lefiya sustain a mortal injury, Filvis can simply donate her own organs and body parts to save her. Furthermore, it is impossible to permanently kill Filvis herself without first killing Lefiya, as Lefiya can resurrect her again with 100% certainty.

Which pair possesses the more "broken" combination? I simply cannot decide.

Still the best pairing in my opinion.

I thought the last volume of Danmachi would change my mind, but no. For now, I'm all for this pairing, and I don't care what the author does with her ending. (Fans, Aiz, I read SO, so don't tell me to read it.) It hasn't changed my mind. And I like the other pairing there more than Bell Aiz.

I'm waiting for the author to write more; maybe my opinion will change.

The Aiz religion.

I'm probably about to face a ton of hate because I questioned the sanctity of their Waifu, but I found it interesting. I want to know if there's anyone left who doesn't subscribe to this "religion." Maybe I'm the only one left. Why did I compare it to religion? I've noticed that religious fanatics always refuse to acknowledge inconvenient facts in the scriptures and even try to justify them if you have a different opinion. And the justifications are the same. It's creepy. And it's very difficult to argue with a crowd. Some even consider debating or doubting their god a sin. I encountered a similar situation. I wanted to argue with someone, but there are too many fanatics, I can't handle them all. And I didn't even call their god bad; I doubted one thing. Basically, it's all about this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/DanMachi/comments/1t95hnc/would_ais_have_killed_bell_in_that_momentor_not/

I feel like the Inquisition is coming for me soon XD

Would Ais have killed Bell in that moment—or not?

Recently, a debate broke out in one of the posts regarding whether or not Ais would have actually killed Bell during the Xenos arc—specifically, before Wiene arrived on the scene and stopped her. My own view was that Ais *would* have killed Bell. I could be wrong, of course; however, it seemed to me at the time—especially after delivering her final warning—that she had steeled her resolve to go through with it and had finally swung her sword. In any case, purely out of curiosity, I’d like to invite others to review those specific moments and draw their own conclusions. Did that blade strike Bell, or did it not?

Excerpts from both episodes are included below. Excerpt from the Epilogue of *SO*, Volume 10:

(I... really wanted to spend... more time... with you... But...

Pushing her thoughts aside, Ais once again leveled her sword at Bell.

“You do realize... that I’m going to cut you.”

“...!”

“And it’s going to hurt—a lot. So...” — she uttered a string of clumsy words; they were laughable, barely even sounding like a threat.

This was Ais’s final warning. She had squeezed out every last word she could muster. And now, she no longer had the strength to speak to him again. And yet...

Even so—Bell didn’t move an inch.

Meanwhile, Ais’s eyes filled with sorrow. And Bell’s expression twisted in pain.

In the very next instant, the corners of her eyes flashed with resolve, and she poured every ounce of her strength into the blade. And even though her hands were trembling, she executed a sharp, elegant movement, creating a silver flash that glinted in the moonlight. But...

“—No!”

From the passageway behind Bell, a translucent shadow suddenly burst forth; it darted abruptly toward Ais, rushing into her field of vision.)

Excerpt from the main *DanMachi* series:

(—I don’t want to...

—Stop.

—I don’t want to...

—Please, step aside.

—...I can’t!

—...Get out of the way!

They shouted at each other, louder even than before.

Shaking her head, Ais began to close the distance between them and thrust her sword forward.

—I’m going to cut you.

—!..

—It’s going to hurt—a lot, so...

These awkward words served as her final warning.

Bell’s throat tightened at the sight of the gleaming sword tip, yet he did not move from... ...places.

Sadness was etched in her gaze. Bell was overwhelmed by unbearable pain.

In the very next instant, the Sword Princess’s eyes filled with resolve; she raised the blade of her sword high above the boy.

Bell narrowed his eyes, blinded by the moonlight glinting off the blade.

“...No!”

The door behind Bell burst open, and a silhouette rushed out into the alleyway.

Her robe billowed out behind her, and her hood fell back from her face.

With a leap, she threw herself in front of Bell, shielding him from Ais as she spread her arms wide.

“Leave Bell alone!”

Her voice cracked—just like a human’s.

For Bell, time stood still; he stared at the back of the girl—at the single wing upon it—while Ais stared at the girl’s blue hair and pale-blue skin. A single sound escaped Bell’s lips:

“Wiene...?”

My ship (SO)

I'm tired of Lefiya haters and attacks on any ship other than Bell and Ais, especially my ship, Bell Rue. Everyone who ships Bell and Ais says to read SO to understand why Ais should be shipped with Bell. But when you read SO, another problem arises. Lefiya gets more character development than Ais. And her power also grows faster than Ais. She may not level up quickly, but her growth as an adventurer is comparable only to Bell. Sometimes I forget that Ais is the main character in SO. I even feel like she's a better match for Bell than Ais. If the author promotes her so much, Lefiya should have been shipped with Bell from the start. Then people wouldn't have any questions. As it is, Ais doesn't get enough attention in either the main series or SO. And there's no need to prove that Ais is the main character. Anyone who tries to prove it is usually Lefiya haters. They instinctively see that Lefiya is more like the main character than Ais, so they call her a cheater and scold Oomori for loving her. In other words, they're acknowledging that Lefiya is the main character. And there's no need for any excuses about them being siblings. Lefiya and Bell weren't even siblings in their past lives.

I like that in Danmachi, most of the girls are older than the main character, because I'm a guy who likes older girls. I decided to write this because some lolicon fans have been pestering me with complaints about Bell being younger than the girls. There are some weirdos in anime culture who fanatically believe that guys should be older than the girls. They don't like Danmachi, but they love the light novel "Toaru Majutsu no Index," where half the girls are loli. (I love that light novel too, but not because it's loli.) I don't understand them. I thought such concepts were a thing of the Middle Ages. Or are there really people here, even in this fandom, who think that way, and I've been too naive?
