Figured out a way to prove the validity of supposed time Travellers. Hear me out

Reading these posts & related time travel related media has brought me to this conclusion ( Apologies in advance if this has already been discussed, and if not, would love to hear your insights )
If time is relative and the possibilities of events within that timeline infinite, then asking a supposed time traveler about the future is pointless ( as "the devils hour" states so eloquently when asked why he couldn't prevent 9/11 from happening and he replied by stating at least he stopped 7/12 )
But all is not lost. Instead of asking about the future, or recent events, we should instead ask about ANCIENT EVENTS.
Think about it, we make ancient archeological discoveries on a consistent enough basis that there should be SOMETHING that was discovered between our timeline and the travellers own supposed time.
On that note, it doesn't have to be too ancient, like they could've just told us where the titanic was or something similar like that.
Id stay away from scientific/technical breakthroughs unless they can actually build/design a working prototype as someone can scroll up mindlessly on a cell phone but not understand the first thing about the science/tech behind it if you were to ask them how to build a cell phone/show you how every part actually works etc.
Apologies again if this has already been discussed. I was just thinking, theoretically, if we as humans are just like a radio catching 1 specific signal in the universe, while all this other stuff is simultaneously happening around us, we might be able to ask this supposed time traveller human, who may be catching a similar signal, just with lower latency, about new discoveries of past played songs.
