IQ Bi-Di EV Charger - DC
Enphase held their annual shareholders' meeting this week. They updated the slide on the BIDI DC charger from "Coming in second half of 2026" (in their April investor presentation) to "Expect to ship in Q4'26 for customers in the U.S." in this May presentation. Seems like horizon is getting close to happening. Two other critical questions remain for me: 1) what auto companies will issue certification to Enphase on what vehicles to use this thing (with anything my wife is willing to drive), and 2) whether they will maintain their previous support for compatibility with Gen3 system controllers. On the auto question, I hope they maintain a clear list and roadmap as they do for generators, and don't leave us trying to navigate that. Showing some cars in a video is not enough. If they check these boxes, I am really anxious to move forward!
