Pest control season.
Is it me or are the pest control peddlers more adamant (and other not as nice words) this year? My dad opened the door thinking his prescriptions were being dropped off. Instead, he spent almost 20 minutes being talked off by some pest. Sadly, my dad isn’t one to just slam the door so he let the guy know we already had a pest control service (and has had it for 2 years so there is a trusting relationship).
Guy got really irritated with my dad saying no and that we already had a service.
“But I’ll treat you better!”
“Your first one will be $99!”
“I’ll make it special for you and throw in fleas and ticks.”
Still no. So he goes, and I have the video:
“Is it just the relationship? Are you like married to this guy?”
Uhm what???? lol what kind of sales tactic is that?
I had to yell at him through the ring that we were taken care of and that we were good.
And so what if we were married to the guy… he treats us good and gets the job done 😉
