If anyone is applying for AIMG, I have a question…
Hello everyone, I want to apply for AIMG, but they request a guarantor, which, if you’re applying, I’m sure you know what the requirements are for that. Problem is, I’ve been living in Alberta since 2024, but I’ve been at home that whole time. No volunteer work, no employment, no nothing. I was mainly in a very rural area this whole time, so not much to do. Plus, I didn’t think I HAD to do anything. I didn’t think it would be required to prove my residency here in Alberta.
So now I’m wondering if you guys have any idea what to do if someone wants to apply to AIMG but can’t find someone that would qualify as a guarantor? Is there some alternative form you can sign? Some exception?
I have sent an email to AIMG with the same query, but their response was simply that they don’t offer advice. They don’t even pick up the phone so I can talk to a representative one on one. So I thought I’d ask on here if anyone has any idea.
