I started looking for a used car thinking the expensive part would be the actual car. Turns out, Ive already spent a decent amount just trying to find the right one.
One car looked great online but was pretty rough when I saw it. Another was nice, but the seller’s story didn’t quite add up, so I passed.
Ive got another one lined up now, but I am hesitant to run another full-price Carfax when there’s a good chance I’ll end up walking away again.
For those who’ve bought used cars recently, what are you using for VIN/ carfax reports? Is there a cheaper option that’s actually good?
