Ryoko hotspot complete scam!
I just wanted to issue a warning here that I wish I would’ve read a couple of weeks ago before I ordered the Ryoko hotspot. The device and the six month plan came to around $140. I waited about 10 days to have a trip to me. After just a day and a half of using it, it stopped working. I contacted customer support and received the answer: “ your data speed has been reduced due to data throttling. While you have an unlimited plan, we have a policy of throbbing excessive usage to maintain the integrity of our network for all users.”
This is really infuriating. Excessive using? I just had regular use at home for a day. Now, reading more posts here on Reddit, I see that everybody’s going through the same thing. It’s ridiculous. Save your money. Complete scam. Not unlimited at all. I’m sending back the device.
