Zinc oxide is preferred to titanium dioxide (better UVA1 coverage, less reactive oxygen species), and both mineral ingredients are preferred to chemical filters.

However, there is emerging evidence of heavy metal / lead contamination. Anyone know if brands with mineral SPF without heavy metals? I realize this is almost impossible to find.

What are people doing for swim wear? The only ones I've seen are polyester or nylon, which I suppose is unavoidable.
