Chance a junior yr LEGO builder for TXXs

Howdy, just regular stuff gng, btw fun stuff ahead.

I attended a regular high school for freshman and sophomore year, dropped out for a year to build my hardware startup full-time, rejoined school as a junior in 2026. That year outside the classroom honestly changed my trajectory completely. I learned things I don't think I could've learned sitting in class.

  • In discussion with multiple accelerators.
  • Built the startup mobile application this summer including an AI computer vision feature that scans rooms and recommends optimal product usage.
  • We had built 3+ prototypes, each solving a problem and improvisation, conducting 15+ experimentation tests, spanning 9 months. ( Only team of 2, me and mentor)

This whole startup was built in gap year and that was the focus

Founder, Shield Enterprises (Closed)

  • Designed, built and deployed a low-cost industrial air pollution control system for emission reduction under 6 month rigorous engineering research fellowship, 10+ site tests conducted, results certification, hands on working with hardware solutions and many more things I did as 9th grader,13 yo. Research & Engineering

Independent Climate Technology Researcher (2022-Present)

  • Conducting independent applied research in air pollution, water, environmental engineering, sustainable materials and filtration technologies.

Howdy, just regular stuff gng, btw fun stuff ahead.

Funny enough, after spending years living inside workshops and labs ( I skipped classes for 3 yrs straight no cap XDXD), it's actually harder to sit through lectures now than building stuff XD

When will India's promised growth be visible

For a long time now, everyone has been hearing all those LinkedIn posts, Reddit threads, and X takes. Everybody in India seems to be excited about India's future. Hardware, climate, deep tech, infrastructure, energy, space, startups, unicorns, foreign investment, everyone keeps talking about it.

But I genuinely wonder, when does that future actually arrive?

I know all of this takes time, but imho I'm not seeing enough tangible progress. China has shown quantifiable impact. Yet whenever we compare India's growth to global standards, we're labelled anti-********. Wanting better shouldn't be controversial.

The truth is that most people prioritize themselves first. If someone gets a great opportunity in the US, they'll probably take it. If they can build a company there, they might do that too. The ecosystem is simply far ahead in many areas, and that's completely fine to acknowledge.

What I find funny is that people never want to openly accept this reality. Everyone celebrates innovation and ambition, but gets uncomfortable when someone points out where the strongest ecosystems still are.
