hello, i would like to attend uc berkley and i current go to ucsb (studying computer engineering) i wanna do eecs and berkley.

- inc sophomore
- gpa. 4.0 (a couple upper div classes)
- I have a paper published at a top AI conference where i’m a first author
- current Machine learning engineering intern pretty prominent tech company (FAANG adjacent)
- AI fellow at a pretty well known startup in llm data space
- i got some projects in the ai space that i think r pretty cool
- some highschool stuff (research paper etc)

yo does any1 know when 27/26 off szn and summer (mainly summer, and wherever ygs are getting off szn rolls, if u can send github that wld be nice) are gonna come out? ik optiver, js, and cit-sec released some roles but i haven't heard of anything else. im mainly targeting ai/ml roles atm but not opposed to swe.

I currently go to ucsb and am i first year studying computer engineering. My grades are pretty good and I think I have a decent chance at transferring (I'd honestly only tranfer if i got into Berkeley, Stanford, etc). I 1rst authored reaserch paper in the AI space this year thats going to ICML and an incoming MLE at a big tech company. Is there a point to me transferring? Im already in a pretty reputable research lab on campus and honestly, I fear if I transfer im not going to "shine" as much as I do at my current school (as stundents at top schools are p competitive). But I also know that just having berkley, stanford, etc on ur resume can get you some really far places. I dont really know what to do and would love some advice. tysm!

yo how to do u get better at knapsack and dp problems in general. these problems are actually frying me. i dont think i have struggled this much in leetcode in my life. backtracking, graphs, trees, and everything else in retrospect seem so easy compared to this.
