Mysterious red tint?

Howdy! First time poster, and first time fully doing the bone cleaning process for my art as I usually get the bones cleaned from a local business (US based).

I started the process over a month ago of cleaning these bad boys. I thought this would be long enough to get the grease off but now I’m not so sure I’m even in the degreasing phase! I used this subs tips that are pinned, but these still smell SO BAD! And now there is a weird red color coming off the antlers I have never seen before.

Any tips and advice for getting these clean so I can whiten them would be amazing! I wanted to use them for a project that needs to be finished by end of Sept but I’m worried I’m no where close to having these done😭💔

(Also want to say this isn’t the tub I had them in, this one is where I dry them out. They were fully covered in the other tub)

Display Advice for Large Items

Howdy all! I am an oddities vendor and am looking for some advice on how to display a quite large item I have created for my local market's Goth Day coming up early July!

This is my first time selling/displaying something this large. It is a deer mount that I have dyed, painted, and made chainmail reins for. The only issue is, it is a LARGE mount that hangs up by the back similar to a wall hanging mount. I want it to be visible from a distance and not just propped up on the table. Anyone have advice for something to display it on? Ideally this will be an "eye catcher" piece, but it is also top heavy cause it is a mount and I cannot have it falling down at all.

Any and all advice is appreciated!

Had my first ever person to recognize my necklace!

Just wanted to share that the Sibuna magic is still alive! I wear Nina's locket, and have for the last few years, every single day. I have NEVER had anyone recognize it. While I was vending at a local market, a girl saw my locket and said "omg I love your locket! Sibuna forever!" and I got sooooo excited. We chatted for a while and exchanged numbers to hang out in the future.

Just wanted to share since I know you all will appreciate!

Hi all! I am an oddities vender and have started to have some weird interactions at some recent events that I have never experienced before. First let me preface by saying I know that not all people like oddities and that is okay! I carry lots of different items as my booth is a haunted attic aesthetic (think ethically sourced taxidermy, religious memorabilia, anatomical models of teeth, crystals, vintage dolls, old CDs/vinyl, antique jewelry, ect ect). However recently, I have had people come up to my booth to tell me that I am going to hell and even folks who when they walk past my booth hold their hand up over their eyes and then take it down once past me. I do not sell anything with blood/gore/nudity or anything that would be considered NSFW. I am very strong in my brand identity and products (and very aware that it is not marketed for everyone), I guess I am just a little disappointed that people would be so quick to judge and be harsh.

If you have had any similar experience, how do you politely ignore these people or deescalate the situation? I was so stunned the first time it happened that I had no clue what to reply with when someone said I was going to burn in hell lol

Also I should note that I do not go to just any vendor shows, I focus primarily on halloween/punk/goth shows and do not really stray from that. I am in a large city that is also very accepting and liberal, this is the first year I am experiencing these strange interactions.
