Tires Season 3
Anyone else catch our boys Dan Soder and Joe Derosa on the new season? Dan especially is really good at being a serious actor. I never watched billions so I only know him as the hilarious goofball from Bonfire. So his acting impressed me even more.
Big Jay had a very short cameo in season 2.
The show is really good. Also, no Bobby Kelly so far. A win win.
This Belgium team
Who are the standout stars? I know Doku (nightmares from our last friendly). I know the dinosaurs from our 2014 match. Who else is a standout and could be a problem for us?
After watching all the late goals and ET games ...
... Anyone else already nervous about the US match? I can just sense us being tied or up one and Bosnia is constantly hammering our back line and Freese with 10 minutes to go
What is up with the LA field?
Puli was sliding all over the place (among others). Now Canada and South Africa are on ice. Anyone else notice this in LA for the other matches too?
Three random sightings at SoFi last night
None of my friends would actually appreciate this, but I have a feeling people here will.
First, saw Dempsey getting escorted by what looked like seal team 6 into the game. I blurted out "CLINT, We need you in a uniform out there man". He turned and gave me a wink.
After the game as we were leaving, Stu Holden was walking down but still into the stadium. No security at all. I yelled at him "STU, We got robbed". He turned and almost gave me a sympathetic nod.
Then in parking lot A, ran across Will Ferrel half jogging all by himself thru the half empty parking lot. It was literally out of Old School. Except he was clothed. I wouldn't have known it was him if they hadn't shown him with his visor on 50 times during the game. I didn't even realize it was him till he was halfway gone so I didnt get a chance to say anything.
I still have a bad taste in my mouth with that last second loss but these three encounters at least were entertaining.
Team bus is ready
Just me and the local media here to report that the team bus is ready. I also brought my calf sleeves in case Puli needs extras.
Pulisic's status?
Any update on Pulisic and his potential injury? When is the next training session? That will probably be our best chance.
New yellow card accumulation rule
For anyone concerned about Adams getting the early yellow card, I looked up the rules and there are minor changes this world cup.

TL/DR no need to stress like in previous World Cups.

Single yellow cards collected during the group stage are wiped before the knockout rounds begin, while any single cautions accumulated during the round of 32, round of 16 and quarter-finals are erased after the last eight matches.
This Australian counter
.. is going to give us fits. Unbelievable speed up top and they really dissected the midfield with their counters.

What do we change (if anything) from game 1?
Weah. Dest. Or both?
Who starts at winger? Who starts at wing back? Assume Freeman is in the back if it's one of them. Or does Poch start both?
This is not a popular opinion but I want both Weah and Dest.
Dest is dynamic and gets into good attacking positions but Weah is a much better outright offensive player. Dest is better at defending. But they are both so dynamic and game changing that I would want them both on the field starting.
Richards twists ankle
Chris Richards just twisted his ankle on a pretty benign play. He was playing well till then. He walked off but in a lot of pain. Didn't look like anything terrible but I am also not a doctor.
Edit: I am going to delete this one. He didn't even sub off. Dude is tough as hell.
USMNT "A" team status

With just 5 weeks to go, I wanted to see how healthy is our "best lineup". I am using the ESPN depth article so don't come at me with the starting lineup questions. I just went with a 4-4-2.
If there are no comments next to a name, then they are healthy. Let me know if I missed anything.
GK
Freese
CB
Richards
Ream
WB
Dest (just returned from bad hamstring injury to sub in on 5/2)
Robinson (started 5/2. Was a sub previous 2 matches)
CM
Adams (returned from quad injury on 4/11. 3 straight sub ins, then started on 5/3)
McKennie
Wings / Attacking Mids
Pulisic
Weah
Tillman (not hurt but getting very limited mins)
Striker
Balo
Midfield subs
Aaronson (healthy)
Tessman (out for the season with injury. WC status TBD)
Cardoso (played both UCL semis but injured in practice. Status TBD)
Dest came off the bench and actually looked explosive. Coming back from that injury, it's great to see with several weeks left before the world cup. Hopefully he didn't rush back.
