Water Penetration from Porch into Basement

The people who renovated our house before we bought it, installed a porch with tongue and groove slats right over the basement. Recently, we noticed water on the walls, floor, and insulation of the basement. Turns out, water is dripping right through the tongue and groove slats if there is any more than a light rain outside, or if we decide to water the plants that are on the porch.

What are the options here? Take the whole porch apart and lay a waterproof membrane?

26 year old male with strange arrhythmias and occasional chest pain

I posted in here a while ago, but here’s a quick synopsis for context:

- 26 year old male, always been very fit/healthy. Typical RHR in 50s-60s

- September 2025 - episode where resting heart rate shoots to 120 BPM while sitting in car; HR stays elevated for two days and causes chest pain (3 ish out of 10); two ER visits later, they tell me to follow up with cardiology because they didn’t find anything

- Follow up with cardiology: EKGs, Holter monitor, exercise stress echo, bloodwork, etc. all came back fine with no indications aside from a first-degree AV block (which I’m told is common in endurance athletes)

- Fast forward several months (8-9 months) and my symptoms have waxed and waned, but nothing has felt the same since that day in September, that first episode

- Recently go on a run, HR is elevated for 20-25 minutes, and then I start experiencing more PVCs and chest pain (still a 3 out of 10, but more than enough to notice it)

- Currently following up with cardiology

For my cardiologists: what would the next step be? Another Holter? Cardiac MRI? More bloodwork? Could this be a result of a blood clot or something? Could it be a result of the COVID vaccine or illness?

This is absolutely killing me because its all I can think about, and not to mention, my physicality is my livelihood. I love to exercise. Anyways, let me know your thoughts and thank you in advance!
