Should I expect my boss to say something before my last day?
I have worked for a small business (20 employees) for 10 years, and have decided I need a career change. I gave my manager my resignation a month early and have 1 week left before I'm done. My boss hasn't said one word about it. I've had general conversation with him about 15 times since I gave my notice and nothing. I finally told my close coworkers today and none of them seemed to know either. Would it be normal for my boss to not say anything, or should I bring it up? Maybe I'm overreacting, but I feel like I'm just going to be a little sad if they don't want to say anything after I've been there so long.
