What’s your best trick for staying fresh during hot weather?

I work outside a lot during the afternoons and the heat lately has been brutal. My best trick honestly started by accident because one day our water went out for a few hours, so I filled a small towel with ice from the freezer and wrapped it around my neck while sitting in front of the fan. It cooled me down way faster than taking another shower every hour.

Since then I always keep a cold towel ready, especially before sleeping because our room gets insanely hot at night. I also stopped drinking too much coffee during hot days because it somehow makes me feel even more drained. Last week my cousin laughed at me for carrying a tumbler everywhere, but he ended up asking for cold water after like 20 minutes outside. Curious what weird or simple tricks other people use to survive this kind of weather?
